This top-up degree builds on the practical and theoretical skills gained in the foundation degree and allows those in the sector to gain an honours degree.



For the BA top-up you’ll need relevant prior study such as the Foundation Degree in Early Years Care and Education or Learning Support. Both courses require you to be employed professionally or voluntarily in a childcare or education setting for at least 12 hours per week, and have a current CRB/DBS.
