Subjects

For each 8 point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, residential schools, or examinations.

If you are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.

ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN ADULT AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

All students receive a standard entry-level credit package of 64 points based on the entry criteria (for full details, see Admission requirements). This entry credit is represented as VET08C Entry Level Vocational Credit.

An additional credit of 16 points (VET02C) is awarded based on the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110 or TAE 40116); or the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (TAE 50111 or TAE 50116); or the Diploma of Training Design & Development (TAE 50211 or TAE 50216), in combination with successful completion of the core subject EEB312 Reflective Practice and Lifelong Learning or EPT320 High Level Facilitation Skills for Adult and Vocational Education (for full details, see Credit section).
