Choose to combine a Master of Nursing with a Bachelor of Arts, offering the opportunity to study subjects such as languages, economics, performance studies, social policy, government and international relations, Indigenous Australian studies and film studies. Beginning in second year studies will include units in postgraduate nursing, gaining a broad interdisciplinary understanding in both humanities and health.

Completion of this degree allows you to apply to become a registered nurse in Australia. You will be eligible to apply for registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and have a wide range of career choices in clinical and non-clinical settings.

Developing skills for leadership in nursing, you will learn to understand the impact of your practice within local and global health contexts, across changing healthcare systems. At Sydney Nursing School, we are committed to developing research and using it as a basis for clinical decision making, in turn improving patient experience and outcomes. Joining students from varied undergraduate degrees, you will engage in debate in our vibrant learning environment.

Study over four years full-time, or eight years part-time. Teaching takes place in lectures, tutorials and simulation clinics and in clinical placements across Sydney, New South Wales or even further afield.
