We teamed up with industry to design the new Bachelor of Business (with specialisations) at Charles Sturt University, so you get the skills business needs. Available online or via blended learning, this business course also gives you the chance to choose a specialisation: Finance, Human Resource Management, Management and Leadership, Marketing, or Strategic Planning.

About this course

Subjects

For each 8 point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, residential schools, or examinations.

If you are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.

As a Charles Sturt University student, throughout your course you have a responsibility to continue to develop skills in English language, literacy and numeracy as appropriate to your discipline. This ongoing development will enable you to effectively participate in your course and graduate prepared to enter the workforce.

Bachelor of Business (with specialisations)

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 192 points.

Associate Degree in Business [Exit Point Only]

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 128 points.

Diploma of Business [Exit Point Only]

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.Full subject list
The course consist of 24 standard subjects (192 points). Each of the employability and work placement subjects consists of a 6-point subject and is complemented with a 2-point transferable subject which forms a standard subject.
