Bachelor of Design in Architecture

The Bachelor of Design in Architecture is offered by the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Planning, ranked first in Sydney and 17th in the world for Architecture/Built Environment*. This forward-thinking studio-based degree explores the aesthetic, theoretical, technical and social aspects of architecture and is your first step in becoming a professional architect.



When you study the Bachelor of Design in Architecture, you will receive the benefits of a unique and flexible course structure, as well as our extensive facilities including state-of-the-art computer laboratories and digital fabrication equipment, alongside traditional timber and metal workshops. You will take a core program in studios, history and theory, communications, technology and design workshops. You will have access to electives drawn from across disciplines in arts, digital design, sustainability and urban design.
