Structure and assessment Program Structure

To graduate with a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) you are required to complete 30 units, including core educational studies and 12 units in two chosen discipline teaching areas (six units per discipline teaching area).

Discipline teaching areas:

· accounting
· business
· biology (including year 7 – 10 science)
· chemistry (including year 7 – 10 science)
· english
· geography
· health and physical education (including year 7 – 10 HPE and year 11 – 12 physical education)
· history
· home economics and hospitality
· industrial technology and design
