Course programme
The Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences (Honours) requires the completion of 48 units, which must consist of:
48 units from completion of one of the following Honours specialisations:
Mathematics
Mathematical Applications and Computations
Entry requirements: An AQF Level 7 Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences degree, or equivalent, completed within the last two years:
with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 70 per cent calculated from the 36 units (i.e. 0.75 EFTSL) of mathematics courses, excluding 1000-level courses (i.e. introductory undergraduate courses), with the highest marks.
Completion of at least eight 2000- and 3000-level courses in the subject area mathematics, with at least four 3000-level courses or equivalent
With the written approval of an identified supervisor for the research project
