Taught from a faith-oriented perspective, the Bachelor of Theology from Charles Sturt University will equip you for Christian ministry or leadership – and broaden your horizons. The course is theologically and biblically rich, vocationally oriented, and is integrated with practical experience.
The course can be studied online and on campus in five study locations: Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hong Kong. It also offers international study trips to deepen your appreciation of historical and cultural dimensions of the Christian tradition.

Subjects
For each 8 point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, residential schools, or examinations.
If you are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.

Bachelor of Theology
To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 192 points.
Associate Degree in Theology [Exit Point Only]

BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY (Articulated Set) (Onshore Students Studying with CSU)
All subjects have a value of 8 points. To graduate with the Bachelor of Theology, students must complete 192 points / 24 subjects made up as follows:
• 11 Core Subjects
• A minimum of 20 Theological subjects
• A minimum of 4 x 200 level – at least 2 x 200 in Biblical Studies and 2 x 200 in Systematic Theology
• A minimum of 6 x 300 level subjects – at least 2 x 300 in Biblical Studies and 2 x 300 in Systematic Theology
• A maximum of 12 x 100 level subjects (including core)
• A maximum of 4 subjects (32) may be chosen from a discipline other than theology
• A maximum of 2 x 400 level 8 point subjects (16)
