Barbering - Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship

You will develop your knowledge and ability in a range of techniques, including cut and style the hair of men and boys, Hygiene, disposing of chemicals, working in a team, client consultation, cutting hair, trim and shape facial hair, colouring hair, shampoo and conditioning and cutting basic patterns in hair and create basic outlines and detailing in hair.

You will also study maths and English, if you do not have a grade A* - C in these subjects, Employment rights and responsibilities and Personal Learning and thinking skills.

• You will need to have a keen interest Barbering, a good reference, a good level of spoken and written English as well as good communication skills.
• You will also need to carry out an assessment and will be interviewed.

• AssignmentsOral Questioning

On completing this apprenticeship, you can progress to the advanced apprenticeship in Barbering or move directly into employment, for example as a junior Barber in a salon.
