Barbering NVQ Level 2

At the end of thisone yearcourse you will be able to seek employment as a Barber.
The maximum intake for this course is 15 students

A good understanding of written and spoken English is required.
Course Content
The course consists of 9 units which are:

·Promote Services
·Consultation
·Cutting Techniques
·Style Hair
·Positive Impression
·Colour Techniques
·Cut Facial Hair
·Shampoo and Condition

·Home Study for the Theoretical work

How will I be assessed?
For each unit there will be practical assessments, written and oral tests and assignments. This will all contribute to the portfolio of evidence which will be presented at the end of the course.
What can I do next?
The next step would be either Barbering Level 3 or Specialist Awards in Hairdressing.
