Course programme

Located in the heart of Downpatrick, Down Arts Centre manages the Ultimate Guide and is the operational base for the arts in Down District. Staffed by Down District Council Arts Team, the venue produces a busy programme of events all year round, as well as producing and managing the annual Opera Fringe Festival on behalf of Fringe Performances Ltd, and the Newcastle Summer Season.

Batik - Silk Scarf

Come along to enjoy the experience of the ancient methods of Batik with artist Sarah Kileff. Using hot wax and dyes you will create your own piece of wearable art. Your silk scarf comes ready hemmed leaving you more creative time to experiment!

Time 11.00am - 3.00pm
