The British Computer Society (BCS) Professional Examination is an internationally recognised qualification, essential for a career in computing and Information Technology. Syllabus

It consists of a two-hour written paper on the compulsory core module:

• Professional issues in Information Systems Practice

• PLUS a two-hour written paper on each of three modules chosen from the following list:

  Computer Architecture Computer Networks Database Systems Internet Technologies IT Project Management IT Service Management Object oriented Programming Software Engineering Systems Analysis Systems Design The Internet and World Wide Web
