Train you in the core areas of beauty treatment and in the Level Three Anatomy and Physiology and Swedish Massage Diploma. When you leave Raworth Centre you will have all the skills you need to become a successful therapist. As a Raworth trained therapist your working life can be flexible and varied, allowing you to work in many different settings. Facial Massage, Skin and Eye Care Treatments
Skin types, cleansing and toning; facial massage; heat and masks; eyelash and eyebrow treatments, contraindications and patch testing.

Manicure and Pedicure and Makeup
Nails, growth, disease and problems; tools, materials and ingredients; buffing and varnishing; client care; hand and arm massage; pedicure and specialised treatments; repairs and artificial nails; makeup for different skin types, tones and shapes; special occasion makeup.

Waxing
Type of wax; suitability; equipment, tools and materials; treatable areas, client care, treatment plans, contraindications and hygiene; ingrowing hairs and hair growth patterns; tanning; sugaring; case studies.

Weekly college attendance

Full-time study equates to three to four days per week and part time is anything from one day per week. Most courses can be studied in a flexible way.

51 days studied two or three days a week for three terms.

Additional information

Payment options: To enrol and secure a place, you must pay a 25% deposit. Your fees include all class activities, course notes, exam registrations and any special kits required (for example, essential oils for aromatherapy or reflexology kits for reflexology courses). However, you will need to pay for your course text books most of which we stock at college and can often be purchased by you at a discount. Also, when you enrol on a practical course you will need to buy a college uniform from the college office.
