This full time course is delivered over three days a week delivered in a realistic salon environment. It is specifically designed to develop practical skills essential for industry requirements.
This is the first stage in becoming a fully qualified beauty therapist, you will learn about health and safety for your work area, your client and yourself. We will provide you with the skills and information on how to perform traditional and contemporary beauty therapy treatments safely and effectively to the current industry standards.

Course programme
You will also develop a number of skills including numeracy, literacy, digital and employability skills throughout the course.
You will be assessed in a variety of ways which will include assignments, external examinations, case studies and continual class assessment
One day additional workshops run by professional beauty companies at a small cost to improve employability and skills. Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments or Level 3 Spa Therapies. Employment opportunities include junior therapist, self employed therapist or retail.
Grade C in GCSE Maths, English Language and preferably Science or equivalent Essential Skills Wales communication and application of number. You will be required to complete an initial assessment in literacy and numeracy and attend an interview.
