Beginners Digital SLR Photography

Our 12 weeks evening course of 2 hours per week is designed to take the beginner through all those infernal buttons and knobs on their DSLRs and allow you get the image you visualise out in print or online.

We also encourage our students to develope their own interests and find their 'voice' creating a style which is unique to them.

Students are required to have their own DSLR and at least one lens, and although the initial sessions are heavily equipment orientated they are designed to make the best of what you have, not to encourage you to buy more! A camera is a tool for taking photos like a toothbrush is a tool for cleaning your teeth. Its not the brush, but how well and how often you use it that provides the world with your smile.

All students will be able to upload photos onto a dedicated web gallery for assessment and comments from the instructor as well as sharing their TOP 10 with the general public.
