In our Italian beginners' classes we do more than just grammar and holiday phrases. Come along and learn about Italian culture, literature and film while learning the most beautiful language in the world.

For our intermediate and advanced students we provide reading material, films and stimulating converations as well as introductions to (and revision of) the mechanics of the language.

As with the beginners, you can look forward to a wide sample of Italy's culture: from pop music to high art, from Toto' to Dante. Our classes are conversational - emphasis is put on listening skills and oral communication - however writing and grammar elements are always covered whatever your level.
Class size: max 10
Minimum age: 18
Schedule: Once a week, 1 and 1/2 hour with no break.
Complimentary tea and coffee is available during the class.
Course material: All language courses at The Language Room are specifically designed to teach you useful, up-to-date modern language with an emphasis on understanding and speaking.
All material is supplied at no extra cost.
Homework: Homework will be given by your teacher to encourage you to look at their notes again and practice your newly acquired skills. While not compulsory (we are all adults!) it is strongly recommended.
Self-access borrowing library: Every little helps, why not borrow (with no extra charge) a DVD, a book, or a comic. Our self access library is an extra service offered to all our adult learners! Enjoy!
Missed classes: At The Language Room, we care. If you can not make a class the material which has been covered will be sent to you...along with your homework. We do not want you to miss out.
