Course programme
Course review:
Add some colour and delicious detail to the sofa with your own scrumptious scatter cushion.
During the morning session you will learn how to set up, thread and use a sewing machine. We'll get you sewing confidently on your own and ready to take on the afternoon project by the time we break for lunch.
The afternoon will be spent making a fantastic scatter cushion with a zip. Elements we cover include fabric cutting; sewing seams; inserting a zip; piping; designing frills and other decorative techniques. We'll also have a brief mid afternoon pause for tea and cake.
All machines, materials and equipment provided, although if you would like to bring your own sewing machine, you are welcome to. Also feel free to bring your own fabric if you have something special in mind. Lunch is included when booking for the full day.
Please note: Completion of the morning session or basic machine knowledge is required for the afternoon session.
