Course Aims:
A 12 week course exploring the basic technique and combinations of moves in this exciting Western take on Belly Dance. To promote an enjoyment of the art form and encourage fitness. To improve flexibility, muscle tone and dance ability.
Course Content:
We will also look at the origins and the ideas behind this distinctive modern development of an ancient dance.
Tutor, Liz has studied this dance with Wendy Marlett ex- Fat Chance Belly Dance of San Francisco, Domba of Oregon, Lyndsey McQueen (Scottish Student of Domba) who are all leading exponents of ATS(American Tribal Style) and with Chris Ogden of Yorkshire and of the English Tribal Style group .

There are a variety of Art & Design and other dance courses available.

Professional Appearance:
No special clothing is required for this course - wear something comfortable. Trousers may be better for floor work.
Duration:
1 hour a week for 12 weeks.
