Course programme

This course is accredited by the British Computer Society, and will equip you with the tools you need to play a role in the future direction of technologies that support the internet and modern communication systems. You’ll be trained in network design and administration, the exploitation of internet technology, computer security, software design and development. Advanced entry directly into later years is accepted dependent on entry qualification. For example, an HND in a relevant area allows direct entry into the third year of study. The module Professional Skills for Application Development is specific to year 3 direct entry students and is taken in place of the Security and Forensic Computing module. Students entering directly into third year are not eligible for the work-based Learning route.
