BEng Internet Engineering

The Internet Engineering Degree scheme is similar to the BEng in Software Engineering but focuses on the particular problems of producing software solutions for the Internet.

In addition to the core modules specified for BEng Software Engineering, as a student in your second year you'll also study modules on Web Development and the design and construction of Internet applications.

The Internet Engineering Degree scheme requires you to take part in a year in employment and the intention is that you spend the year with an internet company.

The final year of study includes all the core modules for BEng Software Engineering and in addition students study modules on the architecture of the Internet, network technologies and the management and administration of Internet services.

The final year major project focuses on a suitable Internet related topic.
