BICSc / BICS Car Valeting Certificate (CVC)
The BICS Car Valeting Certificate (CVC) is awarded and moderated by the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and is nationally recognised within the Cleaning Industry. The course is for the qualification of vehicle valeting operators. The CVC covers all the practical cleaning tasks required in the cleaning of vehicles and provides nationally recognised certification of competence to anyone carrying out these tasks. The qualification can be delivered in an intensive 3-day programme.

The scheme provides for the qualification of Car Valeting and highlights the professional approach of the employing organisation. It does so by setting the standard for the training and the level of achievement of basic grade personnel in the skills that they should have.
How does it work?
The most commonly used tasks are available to choose from and the training course consists of a total of five mandatory units (those marked with *) plus one unit of choice (six tasks in total) In order to achieve a pass the competencies and resources needed are to be proven in each of the chosen tasks.
