This course gives clear and practical guidance on establishing a knowledge bank for your organisation. This gives you access to up to date evidence of your organisation’s capabilities to deliver the service you are bidding for.
On completion of the course you will:
• Understand the importance of proving you can deliver your offer
• Know what types of evidence to collect
• Appreciate how to use data and other evidence within your bid
• Examine different methods of storing data
• Identify an appropriate knowledge bank for your organisation
• Outline a system of updating your knowledge bank
There are checklists and templates for you to use to start building your own knowledge bank
This course is useful for people involved in producing bids and tenders. Primarily aimed at health and social care organisations, it will be useful to anyone who bids for public sector contracts.
This course is delivered by Mercury Business Development Ltd. The Mercury Team has over 20 years of experience in bidding for public sector contracts and has worked with a range of organisations. This course builds on that experience to offer practical and usable guidance. It is the only course of its kind available in the UK today.

Deborah has over 20 years experience of working in health and social care, with 15 of them spent in a business development role. She has worked for both the NHS and large voluntary sector organisations, holding positions up to Associate Director level. Debbie was a guest lecturer on the Psychological Therapies course at the University of York. Debbie has an MA and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Durham, is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and an Accredited Member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP)

Narelle has worked as an independent consultant since March 2014. Previously Narelle was the Director and Principal Lecturer for a registered training company in the UK. Narelle has a BA from Griffith University (Australia), Business Management Award from the Logan Institute (Australia) and a Further Education Teaching Award from Lincoln College. Narelle is also Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), an Accredited Member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
