Biochemistry BSc(Hons) single honours

The course is designed to give you a thorough understanding of chemistry and its application to biology.

It provides the possibility of admission to fast-track medicine or dentistry courses.

You will have the opportunity to study a foreign language, free of charge, during your time at the University on a not-for-credit basis as part of the Kingston Language Scheme. Options currently include: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

A-level: min 104 points. Two science subjects required with minimum grade C required in Chemistry and/or Biology A2. Science also includes Physics, Geography, Geology, Psychology and Mathematics. General Studies not accepted.
BTEC Extended Diploma: minimum 112 (grades DDM) points in appropriate science subjects.
GCSE: Candidates are normally required to hold five GCSE subjects grades A-C (or comparable numeric score under the newly reformed GCSE grading) including Mathematics and English Language

This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology for 2019 entry. Kingston University graduates from this programme will receive one year's free associate membership of the Royal Society of Biology.
