What will I learn?
Biology is without a doubt one of the fastest moving fields of science today. Studying Biology will teach you to ask questions, make observations, evaluate evidence and solve problems. Biologists learn how living things work, how they interact with one another and how they evolve. You will be encouraged to develop an enthusiasm for biology and develop practical skills alongside an understanding of concepts and principles.
What qualifications do I need?
We would normally require candidates to have the standard sixth form entry criteria, including GCSE English to least grade C and Mathematics and Biology to at least grade B.
Career opportunities:
When combined with other necessary A Levels can lead to careers and university courses in areas such as Medicine, Veterinary Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Midwifery, Nursing, Dentistry and Teaching.
