This company is thinking about offering new services to satisfy people\u2019s need.<\/p>\n<p>Students from different master\u2019s thought of ideas to engage with start-ups in order to find the most suitable idea, this is why they opened a platform in which\u00a0 these entrepreneurships\u00a0 were able to collaborate.<\/p>\n<p>According to the students, the ICP is one of the reasons they choose to do masters at Vlerick, and as Tomas Pinheiro, one of the students from Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, says: \u201cI wanted to gain practical experience, find out what business life is like, as I felt this was lacking at university. At Vlerick, however, we had plenty of projects and the ICP was the icing on the cake.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At ICP, s tudents thought of a great idea to engage the startup communities in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands: inviting them to an event in which they could participate into a focus group to talk about new ideas and they had the opportunity to pitch in a Dragon\u2019s Den style session with\u00a0 a panel of judges.<\/p>\n<p>The result was amazing. Start-ups learned fresh new ideas that could boost their potential, but ICP gained understanding of their ecosystem and and an insight into the start-ups, tools and technologies that are underway.<\/p>\n<p>Examples that were discussed were blockchain, shared mobility, the integration of drones into our cars to deliver packages, or the use of drone as emergency response tools, to be integrated in the vehicles used by first aid rescue teams, fire brigades, the police etcetera. These applications might seem off-strategy at first, but they no longer are when we\u2019re thinking about developing a platform.<\/p>\n<p>This way, Vlerick Business School, envolved in this project with Ford and delivered great results.
