Boat Diver Speciality

Course Overview
The aim of the Boat Diver speciality course is to give you the knowledge to safely carry out boat diving on all types of dive boats anywhere in the world.

What will I do
1. Planning and organisation procedures.
2. Problems and hazards of boat diving.
3. Boat etiquette, storage of personal equipment, personal conduct and boat care considerations.
4. Basic common boat terminology.
5. Boat diving entries and exits.
6. Local diving laws.
7. Plus an overview of safety equipment on sport diving vessels.

What will I need
Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) Minimum age: 10 years old
You need your own equipment for this course.

Where can I go from here
The Boat Adventure Dive from the Adventures In Diving program may credit toward this Specialty course at the instructor's discretion. This Specialty course can also be one of the five Specialty certifications necessary for your PADI Master Scuba Diver certification.

The Course duration is one full day on the boat including two dives.
