The Body Specialist course will enable a therapist to carry out complete exfoliation under instruction, together with the application of Algae and Mud masks and the correct removal of these masks. The therapist will then learn how to fully moisturise the body. The Body Specialist course is very versatile, as it easily complements numerous other treatments e.g. this would work well with the Skin Facial treatments.

Course programme

THEORY: BODY SPECIALIST

A theory module relating to the course is sent to the student prior to attendance. The time spent learning this module will be dependent on the student. There will be an exam based on this module conducted at the end of the practical training.

PRACTICAL: 1 day

(Due to the intensity of this course the maximum number of students will normally be limited to 2, but where possible this course will be completed on a One-to-One basis).

You will learn about:

• Complete exfoliation of the body

• Correct removal of the product

• Application of the Mud mask

• Application of the Algae mask

• Correct wrap procedure

• Moisturising the body

• Contra-Indications

• The importance of taking a full case history of your client will enable you to carry out prescriptive treatment for the individual

• Health, hygiene and safety

• Price Structure

• The importance of personal appearance

• Preparation of the client and work area

• Skin Conditions

• Setting up a Practice

• Client care throughout treatment and after-care

• Importance of using British National Formula (BNF)
