About the course
The AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping develops an understanding of the basics of manual bookkeeping. Students completing this qualification may wish to pursue careers in finance or business. This qualification will particularly suit you if you are self-employed or working in small businesses and wish to do your own bookkeeping. It will also develop your skills if you have minimal work experience and require additional support to progress. It may also be of value to you if you are studying other AAT Award qualifications to develop a deeper understanding of the theory behind the practical skills.

Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however, students should have a good command of English and maths, and a desire to develop and enhance business numeracy skills. Students must also join the AAT Annual Award membership which costs £44.
