Description
This course is a practical based programme offering training and assessment for compliance with Part P of the Building Regulations. · Operatives working at Level B and Level C only
· Suitable for persons intending to register under an Approved Part P scheme
Course content:
· Supply installation identification
· Circuit protective devices
· Electrical installation - visual inspection
· Safe isolation
· Pre-work survey and electrical tests
· Exchange component
· Supplementary bonding
· Extension to existing circuit
· Install new radial circuit
· Convert lighting circuit to two way switching
· Install new lighting circuit
· Electrical tests
· Electrical installation certificate
· Install central heating wiring
· Central heating functional tests
