About this course

We teach General Brazilian Portuguese - for every day situations,
Portuguese for exams: GCSE, A levels and CELPE-Bras,
Business Brazilian Portuguese,
Portuguese for travellers

teenagers and adults mainly, but it is possible that one of the teachers who work with me will teach children.

No requirements.
We teach General Portuguese, Portuguese for travellers, Business Portuguese, Portuguese for OCR GCSE, AS and A2 exams.
We also have translators and interpreters.

Lessons are tailored towards the students interests and goals. We take into account what it is important to learn from a language perspective, but also your background, things your like, people you will be meeting in Brazil and the reason you are learning the language.

I will send you the information you request and you can book a lesson with me or one of the teachers who work with me and we can go from there.
You can pay per lesson, so there is no need to commit to a block of lessons, especially when you are not sure if the course/teacher is right for you.
You can always pay per lesson with us, but we give some discount for students paying in advance for a block of lessons, if you at any point decided to do so.

Brazilian Portuguese teacher with 23+ years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults, from which 16 years in the UK. I teach General Brazilian Portuguese, preparation for exams (GCSE, A levels and CELPE-Bras), Business Portuguese and Portuguese for travellers. I teach mainly at my classroom in Shepherds Bush, but I can also visit students at their home/office and visit students at secondary schools to prepare them for exams or conduct the OCR GCSE oral exam in Portuguese.

Qualified teacher.
Degree (Portuguese/English) from Brazil and qualifications from the UK (City and Guilds 7307 Stage One, OCR Diploma for Teaching Foreign Languages to Adults)
More than 23 years of experience in England and abroad. Some of my work and clients including: 'BBC - Proof reading and some translation for a Brazilian documentary about Brazilian Culture, music and government.' Private Tutor for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.', A Star teachers agency, Kingston Adult Education - where I worked for 11 years.'
I offer private tuition in my office in Shepherds Bush or at your place.
I tailor the lessons according to your needs.
I can also prepare you to sit for exams and gain one of the following qualifications: GCSE, AS, A2 levels or CELPE-Bras.

Private 1x1 lessons daytime, evening or at the weekends £23 per hour.(lessons in Shepherds Bush)
ALSO PRIVATE GROUP LESSONS (£13 per 1.5 hours), maximum of 5 students.
