About this course

We teach Brazilian Portuguese only

Grammar and spelling are the same, the differences are in accent and the use of some vocabulary, we can compare these differences to the ones between American and British English, we both understand each other perfectly

Quit similar, as Portuguese and Spanish are Latin languages, they have great similarities in writing, grammar vocabulary and speaking.

We recommend you to have two lessons per week, as we do online only, to avoid keeping your eyes to the screen for long time, we suggest to have 1 hour per session, so, 2 to 3 hours per week are the best to start and speed up your learning. Most students are able to speak the basic (not only asking directions or prices but real conversation) after 20 hours of class

We provide you lots of extra exercises and vocabulary, we also have a youtube channel linked to a blog in our website where you can watch grammar classes and much more with no extra cost, you can also download free material from our website.

Graduated in Translation, I hold 16 Years of experience with ESL, ESOL and Brazilian Portuguese as a Second Language. Multi Cultural Background Experience - Teaching English and Portuguese for Indonesians, Japanese, Chinese, Italians, Americans, English, Brazilians, Spaniards, Portuguese, Mexicans, Argentinians and Bolivians I ran my own school for 7 years (1999 to 2006), in Sao Paulo (CIS ENGLISH) where I developed and managed – also coordinated a group of 5 teachers.
