The aim of this qualification is to create a variety of bridal styles for women using different techniques.
The knowledge gained in this qualification includes the use of ornamentation and techniques such as rolls, pleats, knots, twists, plaits, cures and woven effects.

Course programme

The course will involve practical skills development on practice heads and assessments on clients. There will also be theory input and a range of written assessment tasks / online exams.


Progression onto other related courses (either full or part time) in hairdressing, beauty therapy and holistic therapies.

Level 2 Certificate / Diploma in Hairdressing, Level 2 Certificate Cutting Women's Hair and Level 2 Awards in Cutting and Dressing Women's Hair.

Additional information

Course cost is £135. There will be an additional kit cost of £97.38 and £10 cost for portfolio material. Students will be expected to wear black or purchase a college tunic if they wish. Students wishing to enrol will need to attend a guidance session at the Broadway Centre - contact us for available dates.
