Introduction
Learning British Sign Language is now fun and easy with our unique interactive online course.
We have created this course so that anybody who is interested in learning BSL has got access to the resources that they need. Studying over the internet gives you the flexability to study wherever and whenever you like.
Our Students
'Introducing British Sign Language' is an ideal course for anybody interested in learning British Sign Language as well as being an ideal revision resource for those studying BSL level 1.
Current students include people with Deaf family & friends, care & support workers, individuals with an interest in BSL, students studying for their BSL level 1, and organisations such as NHS departments, schools, shops, and police forces (to name a few), who use it as a key part of their staff development program.
The flexibility of this course means that you can study anywhere and anytime and you can go at your own pace. You are able to interact and discuss your learning with other students through class forums.
Assessments
This course usually takes between 5 - 10 weeks to complete. Your enrollment will give you access to the entire content for 1 year enabling you to use it for reference as often as you like.
Each of the 10 sessions ends with an interactive assessment which involves watching some video clips and answering some short questions.
Assessments can be taken as often as you like. Once you have scored 85% or more on each assessment you can download a certificate to show that you have successfully completed this course
