Overview At a glance This qualification is suitable for people who coordinate and maintain the Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in an organisation. It reflects the role of practitioners who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts. Application Mode Distance Courses/Units Nine (9) units must be successfully completed - five (5) core units and four (4) elective units. Students should enrol into core units prior to electives. Offerings
Related course: BSB60615 - Advanced Diploma of Work Health and Safety. Students completing this diploma are eligible for credits within CQ University's Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety or Bachelor of Accident Forensics.
Once enrolled in the unit/s each term, students are provided access to their online resources. These include readings, assessment, templates, case studies, videostreams, forums and online collaboration tools.

Distance students require strong self motivation and should allocate 5 hours per week for study for each unit. This course is self paced so students must have sound literacy and numeracy skills. This course is delivered by distance education so students must have access to a computer and the internet. Students also require computing skills to use the Microsoft Office suite.
