Overview At a glance This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply project management skills and knowledge. They may manage projects in a variety of contexts, across a number of industry sectors. They have project leadership and management roles and are responsible for achieving project objectives. They possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate their own work and/or the work of others.This qualification requires a minimum of 6 hours per week over the duration of the volume of learning for a Diploma Subject.  This equates to approximately 1 - 2 years study or 1200 to 2400 hours.   Application Mode Distance Courses/Units Part-time load - Twelve courses must successfully be completed-eight (8) core and four (4) elective. Availability Distance Education Duration40 week durations per VFH term. Intake Dates Commences VFH 1: 1st February 2016; VFH 3: 11th April 2016; VFH 5: 11th July 2016 Hours of Study Approximately 535 hours of study time will be involved however, the training duration will depend on the electives and study mode selected.
