Introducing your degree
Designed to create leaders who can take forward change and drive initiatives within organisations, this degree will encourage you to think differently about business and management. As well as covering contemporary concepts and practices, modules in year one offer an interdisciplinary perspective on business and management that you won’t find on similar courses elsewhere. Drawing from economics, history and the social sciences, these modules will give you a more integrative view of today’s business world and enable you to put your learning into a wider context. In the second and third years you can design your own course by choosing modules that interest you. The wide range of options includes areas such as accounting and finance, strategy, entrepreneurship, marketing and project management. Whichever modules you choose, you’ll be taught by research-focused academics who are leaders in their field, as well as benefiting from the Business School’s close links with industry.
