1. 200 UCAS tariff points or Equivalent. GCSE Grade Level B in English or IELTS Score of at least 6 is essential. In addition, GCE A Level at Grade Level B in Mathematics or Equivalent is required.

The University of Hertfordshire is one of the most diverse university communities in Britain and according to their international office, more than 2,500 international students from over 90 countries study in a thriving multicultural environment where, like LSM, many of their staff are also from international backgrounds.

The London School of Management recently gained recognition of its 2 years Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire. The University of Hertfordshire has confirmed that it will accept students who have successfully completed years 1 and 2 of the Advanced Diploma with at least 240 credits, for entry to level 3 of its BSc Honours Computer Science. The level 3 of the programme can be completed at LSM in Ealing.

Foundation Year (2 semesters of 15 weeks, commencing September,January, April & July)

Each module is worth 15 credits. Students gaining 120 credits will be awarded a Diploma in Computer Science by LSM. The 120 credits Diploma is equivalent to the fist year of BSc Computer Science at University of Hertfordshire.

Students gaining 120 credits in the Second year are awarded an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science by LSM. The Advanced Diploma is equivalent to the second year of BSc Computer Science at University of Hertfordshire.

Students who achieve 240 credits meet the entry requirement for direct entry to the third and final year of BSc Computer Science at University of Hertfordshire and can be completed at LSM in Ealing.

Year 3 (2 semesters of 15 weeks, commencing September, February)

Students have the following choices to complete the degree programme awarded by University of Hertfordshire:

  • Complete 240 credits with LSM and join the UoH campus to complete the BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Complete 240 credits with LSM and remain at LSM to complete BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Systems. .

To gain a BSc (Hons) Computer Science, students must take a project and three other optional modules.

To gain a BSc (Hons) Information Systems, students must take the compulsory module (module 7), a project and two other optional modules.

Each 30-credit module takes 15 weeks of study and would typically take between about 210 and 300 hours of study.
