Contributions to the GSM London Eventum publication, articles and blogs Our Events and Entertainment Management degree aims to stimulate creativity and equip you with problem solving skills and industry specific knowledge. The hands-on approach of this degree allows you to gain practical experience of events and entertainment management, while the delivery of consultancy services relating to event design and operations will make you an ideal candidate for employers in this field. Future roles could include events and entertainment entrepreneurship or employment in the field of music, fashion, wedding planning, festivals, charity/fundraising or community events. What Will I Learn?
The programme is designed to enhance self-reflection and personal development. The three stages of the programme are designed to facilitate increasingly challenging learning techniques as students’ progress.
At stage zero: embarking on the Foundation course will be the stepping stone towards achieving the degree in which your strengths can be realised. The first semester is the same for all students however in the second semester a choice of two further elective modules will be chosen to prepare for the degree you will be commencing. An applicant must normally be 18 years of age at the start of the programme and as a minimum must have obtained:
2 A Level passes (A-E/ minimum of 80 UCAS Tariff points) or successfully achieved 120 credits on the GSM London’s Foundation Year programme or equivalent Tuition fees
