Who is this course for?
This course is for people who already hold an intermediate higher education qualification, such as a relevant Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma and who wish to convert this into an honours degree in order to improve career prospects and lead to greater opportunities in the fitness or health sector including the NHS. The course includes a critical study of anatomy, physiology, psychology, diet and nutrition, the impact of exercise and an examination of government policy. The intensive route can be completed in one year and three months; the dissertation is completed in the final 3 months (30 credits). You must have passed a relevant Level 5 qualification such as an HND or Foundation Degree with approved grade profile.
