About this course

Students will be required to hold a Foundation Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related subject. Students must also have access to a computer with an internet connection and a browser that can display Java applets.

The Programme

We offer a flexible learning approach to allow students to gain a degree without having to move location or have significant time off work for day release courses.
The Programme Content
The following modules are studied:
Individual Project
Robotics and Control Systems
Electronic Drive Systems
Manufacturing Processes
Automotive Technology
All of the learning support material is placed on the public web pages or the student portal of the University of Plymouth and routine support is provided by email. Students will only need to attend the College every three to four weeks for an evening lecture and will attend the University for a 'lab day' for each module to carry out specific practical work.
