Entry Requirements

Applicants will need 96 UCAS points (or appropriate level 3 qualification). Mature students with a relevant industrial background may also be considered. All applicants will need GCSE English and Maths (at either grade C or grade 4 and above).

Applications from students whose first language is not English are welcome. For International students we require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, speaking, listening and reading), the required minimum is: IELTS (SELT) 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components). Course programme

Summary

This programme is designed for students who wish to pursue an engineering career in the Aviation industry.

The programme will provide a combination of academic study and work practice at the International Aviation Academy Norwich (IAA-N) based at Norwich Airport. This programme will be delivered in classrooms, workshops and the Aviation Emulation Zone®. The BSc (Hons) Professional Aviation Engineering Practice offers generic modules and specialist pathways.

This programme develops the knowledge, technical skills, understanding and awareness necessary to develop a career in the technical, supervisory or management areas of the Aviation Engineering industry. The programme will provide the opportunity to complete real maintenance experience. Approval is being sought from the CAA for this experience to be counted toward the application for a B1.1/B2 licence.
