Overview
At this level, you will gain a better understanding of the Principles of Science, by looking at Chemistry and our earth, Biology and the environment and how to apply physical science. Further study of the universe and health applications in life science, will equip you with the knowledge you need to complete assignments and assessment.

Entry Requirements
You will need 3 GCSEs at Grade D or above which must include English or maths (ideally English). An interview and assessment to confirm suitability for the course.

Course Duration
One-year, Full-time

Skills and Benefits
This course is the equivalent of 4 GCSEs, so you will able to apply for higher level courses at Level 3 if you successfully complete the qualification. You will also improve you English and maths skills which are very important if you want to work in any aspect of Science.
