ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants will met one of the following entry requirements and attended a successful interview with satisfactory references providing information on behavior, punctuality and attendance:

2 GCSEs at grades A* - D; or
BTEC Introductory Diploma in Art, Design and Media; or
GNVQ Foundation in Art and Design; or
Other recognised UK/Overseas related FE Level 1 awards.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This course is for students wanting to develop a range of skills in general art and design and Media. On completion of this course, most students progress on to the BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia or other equivalent FE Level 3 qualifications such as: Graphic Design, Media Moving Image

In addition to studying Basic/Key Skills the subjects covered will include:

Contextual Studies;
Portfolio Development;
Drawing;
Film and Video;
Animation techniques:
Story-boarding:
Introduction to Interactivity
Graphic Image Making
PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
If successful on the programme you are likely to progress on to one of our specilaist National Diploma Programes in Graphic Design, Multimedia or Media Moving Image.
