The BTEC First Diploma in Media consists of three core units plus four specialist units.
Core units
- Introduction to Media Industries
- Research for Media Production
- Introduction to Media Audiences and Products
Specialist Units studied may include:

- 2D Computer Games
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through completing assignment work in each of the units, which will involve practical projects. There are no written examinations.
