BTEC Introductory Diploma in Art & Design
This course includes the following:
Mark making and making skills - producing drawing.paintings and 3D work
Explore a broad range of techniques and materials
Research techniques such as finding out about different artists through libraries, the internet etc.
Producing your own work based on a range of subjects such as textiles, graphic design, painting or drawings.
What Do I Need To Join This Course? Samples of artwork which will show you have an interest and ability in art and design. This course is aimed at learners who do not have GCSE qualifications at grade C or above.

What Can I Do AT The End Of This Course? After successful completion of this course you can progress to a BTEC First Diploma in Art and Design or Media as well as other higher level specialist art and design courses, or various higher level specialist art and design courses.
