Study Method:
Study methods include formal class meetings, workshops, assignments and "hands-on" practical work in computer rooms. Attendance at college is required five days weekly for one year.

Who the Course is For:
This is a one-year course for those interested in developing an understanding of how businesses work, how they are organised and how they control their money.
Assessment:
The course is continually assessed through assignments, projects and case studies. One assessment will be done externally and the others internally.
Course Leads To:
The BTEC Introductory Diploma in Business, Retail and Administration is equivalent to 4 GCSEs at grades D-G. This qualification is accepted by all employers within the business sector for entry into general administration and customer service.
Students achieving high grades may progress to the BTEC First Diploma
