Who is this course for?
This qualification is designed for students who want to gain an insight into the application of IT in a range of careers. This is an entry qualification and requires 3 * GCSE Grade ‘F’ or equivalent. Learners who have not already achieved Maths and English at grade ‘C’ or above will continue these studies alongside the main programme.
What other experience will I gain?
Students in Digital Technologies benefit from using a range of modern hardware and software with free subscription to Microsoft Dreamspark and Office 365 which allows access to the latest programs from home. Students at all levels have the opportunity to be involved with live projects connecting college to the local community, many taken through our three internal businesses. Students will learn wider skills such as planning, organisation, teamwork and presentation skills.
