The course is designed for technicians entering the construction industry and covers the basics of all the subjects likely to be required by such people.
Mature people wishing to move from craft to technicians studies often use this course as a stepping stone to higher education.
For this qualification you will need to pass the 6 core units and 6 specialist units.

The completion time for the course is two years on part time 1 day per week or 2 1/2 years on evenings only basis.

Course assignments are assessed throughout the year. There are no examinations.
