Duration: Full Time Day

Entry Requirements: Four GCSEs Grade A-C

Course Description
The aims of the course are threefold. First, we aim to develop your own skill level and knowledge of the various activities, secondly, we hope to give more breadth and depth to your outdoor experience, finally we aim to enhance your employability within the sport/outdoor industry through providing structured experience, and through gaining nationally recognised qualifications.

· Skills for Water-based Outdoor and Adventurous Activities
· Leading Land-based Outdoor and Adventurous Activities
· Leading Water-based Outdoor and Adventurous Activities
· Outdoor and Adventurous Expeditions
· Alternative Pursuits for Outdoor Adventure

You are also able to work towards the following:
· NVQ Sport & Recreation Activity leadership L2
· Key Skills in Communication, ICT and improving own learning
· Emergency Fist Aid at Work
· Basic Expedition Leadership Award (BEL)
· British Orienteering Federation Award
· Silver Duke of Edingburgh Award

On Completion
Candidates can progresson into HE.
