For enrolment to this course, students must be at least 16 years of age and meet one or more of the following requirements:
BTEC Intermediate GNVQ in Business or ICT at Merit
Four GCSEs at Grade A*, A, B or C. Preference will be shown to students with Grade C and above in English.
For mature students, appropriate work experience.

Business Management and Financial Services - Business Studies

Study Method:
The course will be particularly attractive to those students who require a combination of business and information technology. This course contains 2/3 Business units and 1/3 IT units that develop skills such as Web Design, Graphics and Databases.
The course is made up of 18 units for the BTEC National Diploma. Key Skills Communications Level 3.
Duration :Two-year course. Full time.
Who the Course is For:
The course is equivalent to three A levels. The Diploma provides both a broad foundation of business education and a firm basis for specialism in online technologies.
Assessment:
All units are internally assessed and graded. An overall grade is awarded to those who successfully complete all units. Grades awarded are Pass, Merit and Distinction.
Course Leads To:
Students may progress to university. A successful student could achieve the equivalent of three A levels. It is possible to accrue a total of 360 UCAS points on this course.
